Optimal Rank/Favored - Chubu - 09-16-2010 05:48 AM So I found this while roaming through forums. Some interesting data with optimal ranks and equipment that favors certain disciples. Assumtions: Physical level does not effect the loss (stayed at 20 for entire test) All classes recevie the same loss Only variables that effect Gear-> true stats are optimal rank, if it favors you or not , and durabilty Test: I removed all my gear and found my base stats of 7 Def 7 Evasion and 5 M. Def. Then i put on Hempen Cowl (59 def, 26 Evasion 61 M Def, 14 optimal rank , suits conj not MRD) and Hempen Scarf (13 Def 11 Evasion 16 M. Def Optimal rank 3 suits all classes) seperately to see the net stat change (Displayed Stats - Base Stats). Then i found the percentages based on (Net Stat Change / Gear stat * 100). Both the scarf and cowl were at 100% durabilty at all times. Results Rank 14 MRD wearing Cowl - Net vaules were 36 Def 16 Evasion 37 M . Def 36/59 = 61% 16/26 = 61.5% 37/61 = 60.6% Rank 14 MRD wearing Scarf - Net vaules were 13 def 11 evasion 16 M.Def All vaules were 100% Rank 1 Conj wearing Cowl - Net vaules were 34 Def 21 Evasion 36 M.Def 34/59 = 57.6% 21/26= 80.7% 36/61= 59% Rank 2 Conj Wearing Cowl - Same vaules as Rank 1 Rank 2 Conj Wearing Scarf - Net vaules were 10 Def 13 Evasion 13 M.Def 12/13 = 92.3% 11/11 = 100% 15/16 = 93.7% Rank 1 LW wearing scarf = Same vaules as Rank 2 Conj Rank 1 LW wearing Cowl (both rank and favor down) - 21 def 13 evasion 27 m def 21/59 = 35.6% 13/26 = 50% 27/61 = 44.2% Anyalsis - The data for having the gear not favor makes alot of sense it says that you get about 60-62% of your stats from a piece of gear that you meet the optimal rank for if the gear does not favor your current class. if ir does favor you you get 100%. very simple. As expected each stat Def, M def, evasion gave the same % of stats that you get from the gear - Optimal rank on the other hand gave very some weird data. I cannot explain why evasion has a much higher % to retain its stats then def and M.Def. also there is two conflicting data points on whether the % of value changes the closer you get to the optimal rank. more testing is needed. If anyone else wants to comment or run the test themselves with diffrent gear/classes feel free to post in this thread. Edit: after redoing the Test i found i jotted some numbers down wrong and have fixed the data in my post. |
