I've tried leveling some low ranks jobs to see the EXP and SP difference, it seems a bit crazy in my opinion.
Leveling with a 8THM and a Shield against Star Marmots I'm getting Identical SP on both THM and SEN (179SP) at the end of every fight. That seems a little excessive.
I'm not sure if in later levels the two jobs SP will deviate, but I'm basically leveling two jobs at the same time.
With a level 5 Archer I was getting ~250SP per fight, on top of that I'm also getting 600+EXP per mob, before the patch it would be 0 to 5.
I'm not sure what effect this has to party play, but I'd like to try it out later if any of you guys will be on? Access is still 'free'

I was on yesterday for a while and had some fun for a change. I went from 13-15 archer pretty quickly... I was getting 700ish SP per mob in Guildleves, seems to be quicker, though it probably isnt very noticeable at level 40 or so, But I was pleased to look through some of the gear and shop.
Though, I'm going to play casually until the big update coming up in a month or so.

I do like the changes they made, once they hammer out the crummy retainer bazaar system, I really look forward to playing.
I took Conjurer to 10 pretty quickly, I've never really liked magic jobs in game, but I liked it for some reason... Seemed really powerful.
