any one here a ps3 user and has had YLOD happen ? it happend to me I manage to fix it but... that didnt last 2 weeks and its back again dont want to lose my EE ps3 :/ if anyone has any suggestion on what the problem realy is or if i should just suck it up and buy a slim (blah
)

Happend to me back last march during FF13.... umm, I would just get a slim since... your current ps3 could always be a ticking timebomb, I dont know what kind of "fix" you did, but if you didnt tamper with the warranty seal, you could still send it to sony for a fix... or they offer a trade up program and will sell a slim to you for like 200$+ your broken ps3.
If I recall, to get it refurbished by sony. its roughtly 150$ + shipping.

yeah its that price to late now realy the fix voids the warranty i dotn trust them with the fix my friend sent it and it was sent back with a new problem oh well if i cant do anything ill jsut sell the BD drive to my friend and fix his and use that $ to buy a slim im gona miss P3 and P4 :/
