I have a GTX470 and think it is great, for a card less than $200 I would personally recommend a 460, but I won't buy ATI after being stung by their driver support in the past. I usually use Toms Hardware for reviews of PC hardware, they recently ran a segment called 'Best Graphics Cards For The Money: April 2011' (see the link below).

They recommend a Radeon HD 6850 for the sub $200 range.
