Hey guys! Final server?
Hey guys (or at least the few of you who are also here and poking around the FFXIV beta)! How goes it?
I made a character on Figaro (Zealboy Flash) for the beta, but I'm still unsure about what to do for the final release. I'd like to play with Apoc friends again, but I also have other real life and internet friends I've been talking to. Of course no one seems to be going to the same server. A couple people plan to play officially on Wutai. Another friend is following his old FFXI linkshell who plans to go to Rabanastre or Lindblum. They all claim they've heard the Figaro is too crowded now and think it'll stay that way. Anyway, have you guys picked an official server to all play on after the beta is over? You're also on Figaro now, right? Plan to stay? |

I belive it was already decided on Figaro havent heard otherwise and yeah i guess it is a little crowded but i havent seen the server with more than 1k i cant realy say about retail but i dont think its gona be that much of a problem |

ive seen the server range anywhere from 800 to 1300. The server seems to be pretty popular with the japanese as well as NA.

Ive made a character on a couple of servers and gone to 10 just to see them... most of them are pretty crowded. But I think it only seemed that way cause of early beta hype and everyone being "zomg gotta catch em all!O_O" I expect the start of retail to be even worse for the first few weeks, but then it should spread out once the general populace gets past sitting at the first camp killing Rats all day long.
I'll stick around Figaro though, where ever Apoc goes ill tag along. I remember when I started playing FFXI and there were 400 people in the dunes at the same time... now that was crowded. |

And everyone sat around the zoneline to Highlands, afk on seek. Then some party would zone a gob, and since there was no despawning back then, it would kill all those afk people!! Good times!

Haha Yeah, I wouldn't go afk anywhere in the Dunes, Would run to Selbina for that.

well i have my collectors edition installed and updating given that my brother is going to be on wutai and a few of our friends are there i will also be located out on that server.

I failed creating character in figaro due to :
