It's safe to say most of the people in Apocalypse are holding out for version 2 of FFXIV (see screenshots here... http://www.ffxiv-apocalypse.com/showthread.php?tid=660 )

The director is saying a lot of things fans of the series are hoping for. Hopefully they can deliver on that promise, but the proof will be here soon with version 2 of FFXIV.

It looks beautiful, it really does. But I will not match the fun of the combat game play in gw2. There is nothing like it. Look into it man. It plays like an action game. Not like Terra does it. Its actually quite amazing.

Remember Tanith? I found him on facebook. He is Beta testing (pre purchase) Guild Wars 2 also. He is as crazy about it as I am. We are going to the same server. Not that it matters b/c you can do something called "guesting" and hop onto another server whenever you like for free. So like I could just visit on another server if I had a friend there. GW 2 launches August 28 (25th for pre purchases) and I really hope you guys decide to give it a go. I would be shocked if you did not become a fan for life.

Well it seems I am getting nowhere fast around here pushing this game. I only push b/c i KNOW if you tried it you would thank me. I feel I would not be a good friend if I didn't tell my best group of in game friends ever, about this amazing thing called GW2. I challenge you to buy it try it and not love it. Imposable. I am not going to give up on you guys just yet. One day you will play it. Then I will be thanked =)... And the great thing about it is that when you do start playing, it wont matter what lvl my main character is b/c the sidekicking system allows me to do dynamic events with w/e lvl friends I want and still reward me for them. It kicks me down to the lvl of the area. I keep all gear and skills but I take a temp lvl cut. Its so awesome.
